Electronic Medication Management (EMM)
Electronic Medication Management (also known as Electronic Medication Administration Records, or eMAR) directly enable a better standard of care through improved delivery of medication. With EMM, carers receive specific detailed instructions on what medications need to be administered and when.
Each EMM record contains details of medication type, dosage, strength and frequency. When a carer clocks in to a visit, any due medication is displayed, along with route information and the outcome of any previous administrations. Alerts can be triggered in the case of a missed or declined medication.
Responses are tracked, and a response can be made mandatory in order to clock out of an appointment. This response is then fed back to the administrator to know the status of medication delivery in real time.

Set up Electronic Medication Records for each Client
Each service user can have an unlimited number of Electronic Medication Records. A record contains comprehensive prescription details – including medication name, dosage, strength, frequency and delivery method. Select from predefined lists or customise with new details.
A list of expected responses can be set for each record, giving carers a list of options to record the outcome of the medication delivery – from successful through to rejection and any accompanying information.
